Borough start the new year with a home game against Pilkington FC on the 3rd January, and will be hoping to hit the ground running coming into 2022.
Currently 6th in the NWCFL Division One North, Brent Peters and David Felgate will be making sure the lads are totally focused going into the second half of the season with some big games taking place over the next few weeks.
Following the game with Pilkington FC borough will play Chadderton away on the 11th, Ashton Town away on the 15th, and then the rearranged Garstang game will be on the 18th.
Other games in Janaury see the young borough face two Yorkshire club's in Campion FC on the 22nd and Golcar United on the 29th. All big games with valuable points at stake especially if borough are to stay with the pack at the top of the league.

Talking to the captain Michael Gervin he said; "It's massively important that we continue get the points on the board. We have played some attractive football this season but at times had lapses of concentration in games that has ultimately cost us. Coming into the new year we'll be focused on gaining as many points as possible and staying with the pack. This team are capable of achieving success together."
