BORO READY FOR THE CHALLENGE

This week Boro face two tough challenges with games against West Didsbury & Chorlton on Tuesday evening in the Lancashire Challenge Trophy, followed by a FA Vase clash against Wythenshawe Town on Saturday.

Both teams are flying high in the respective leagues and the Boro managment know too well that their team will need to be on their game in order to get anything from the two ties. West Didsbury & Chorlton are currently leading the NWCFL Division One South with nine wins and two draws so far this campaign. As for Saturday's opponents Wythenshawe Town they're currently in a good vein of form with five wins, three draws and two defeats.

Talking to the manager Brent Peters he said; "Both games will be tough, but as we witnessed against FC United, Atherton Colls and Bury AFC, our lads are more than capable of getting a result in both of these fixtures, and one thing is for sure they won't fear the opposition."

Brent has mentioned the fact that several key players will be missing for both games but see's this as an opportunity for others to stake a claim for a place in the team. Ross Mallinson and Gareth Wager look doubtful for the game with West Didsbury & Chorlton, and the Siddle brothers Kyle and Ryan are away visiting family.
